Google Jamboard is going away on 31 December. To keep your work, export your Jam files before then. But how can you export your Jam files? In this article, we’ll explain how you can export your Jamboards in three ways.

• Exporting an individual Jamboard as a PDF
• Bulk exporting all of your Jamboards as PDF
• Exporting your boards into Jotboard (a Jamboard alternative) so that you can keep using them

How to Export An Individual Jamboard as PDF

To export a single Jam file as a PDF, open the menu (the three dots in the top right) and click Download as PDF. You might have to wait a few seconds and then the PDF file will appear in your Downloads folder.

The benefit of this method is that it’s very easy! The downside is that it takes a long time for all of your Jam files, and you can’t edit the resulting PDF.

How to Bulk Export Your Jamboards as PDF

In order to bulk export all of your Jam files, you can do this from Google Drive:

1. Open this link in a new window: drive.google.com/drive/search?q=type:jam
2. You should be able to see all of your Jamboards
3. Select the Jamboards you want to download, or press Ctrl-A (⌘-A on Mac) to select them all
4. Click the Download button at the top
5. It will say “Preparing download” in the bottom right, this may take a little while
6. Google Drive will download a ZIP file of all your Jamboards into your Downloads folder

This is the easiest way to download all of your Jam files in PDF format, however, you still can’t edit them! There is one more option which I’m going to walk you through: how to import your boards into Jotboard, so that you can keep editing them.

How to Import Your Jam Files Into Jotboard

Jotboard is a replacement for Google Jamboard, which offers the same slide-based interface and all of the tools that you are used to. And, it’s easy to import your Jamboards!

1. Sign up to Jotboard in a new tab: jotboard.co/app/sign-up
2. Create a new board and have a play around with Jotboard’s features
3. When you’re happy, head to the import page: jotboard.co/app/settings/import
4. Follow the simple steps (takes less than a minute)

Your Jamboards are now imported into Jotboard, and you can edit them! 🎉

Summary
